Lisa Vale Mini Make Over – Forever Living

I had the recent pleasure of giving Lisa Vale a min make over using her Forever Living Product Range. The make up range – Flawless by Sonya – provided some great products, which can be used to create a natural make up look.

I started on clean cleansed skin and used Sonya Aloe nourishing serum to prep and prime the skin for make up. Using a Beautyblender I applied a BB cream as a base and defined check bones with a cream to powder foundation in a shade approximately two shades darker than Lisa’s natural skin tone. I also ran a little around the forehead, under the chin, down the sides of the nose and blended well. The skin was then powdered with Delicate Finishing Powder.

Eyebrows were combed and defined using an eyebrow pencil. In the absence of wax a little petroleum jelly was used to tame stray hairs.

Using Bronzer, the eye socket was defined and a little copper eyeshadow was added. A matt brown shadow was used on the outer V for further definition. Wetting a small flat brush, a little violet shadow was used to line the top lashes. Under the brow, a gold shadow was used for highlight. On the bottom lash line a dark mat brown shadow was used as liner. Eyelashes were enhanced using lengthening mascara.

Next the check bones were contoured with bronzer and more was brushed on the temples, forehead and jawline. A coral toned blush was swept across the apples of the cheeks.

The lips were outlined with a lip pencil and Pomegranate lipstick colour was added to give colour. To further enhance the lips a gloss in a coral tone was added to the cupids bow area and to the centre of the bottom lip. A little bit of serum was added to the top lip area to conceal any vertical lip lines.

Lastly a little highlight was added to the centre bridge of the nose and down to the tip. A tiny bit of finishing powder was added to blend the look together. A damp Beautyblender sponge set the finish.
